Structmate Pty Ltd (ABN 76 686 135 302), trading as Structmate, respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
When you make an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name and details about your project. When you engage us we also hold the drawings, specifications and any pricing information you provide.
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, carry out work you engage us for, invoice you, and keep records we are required to keep for tax and professional purposes. We do not use your information for anything else.
Drawings, specifications and pricing you provide are treated as confidential. They are used only to deliver your job, are not reused on other projects, and are not disclosed to anyone outside those working on your project. Where a contractor assists with production, they are bound by a written confidentiality agreement.
We do not sell or rent your information. We may disclose it to our accountant or professional advisers where necessary, to contractors bound by confidentiality obligations who assist in delivering your work, or where required by law.
Information is stored in reputable cloud services with access limited to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.
Project records are retained for as long as needed to deliver the work and to meet record-keeping obligations, generally at least five years for financial records. Enquiries that do not proceed are deleted once they are clearly no longer relevant.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
